Publication Ethics

In Concreto Law Journal is an academic journal managed by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Universitas Harapan Bangsa, since 2022. The journal is published online and disseminates scholarly articles and research-based scientific works in the field of law.

This publication ethics statement outlines the ethical principles and professional standards that must be upheld by all parties involved in the journal publication process, including the publisher, editors, reviewers (peer reviewers), and authors. The Code of Ethics for Scientific Publication is founded upon three core ethical principles:
(i) Neutrality, meaning freedom from conflicts of interest in the management of publications;
(ii) Justice, meaning the proper recognition of authorship and contribution; and
(iii) Integrity, meaning freedom from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism in scholarly publication.

After carefully reviewing this Publication Ethics statement, authors are required to download the Ethics Statement and Copyright Agreement. The signed Ethics Statement must be submitted as part of the initial manuscript submission. The Copyright Agreement must be submitted prior to publication. Both documents may be submitted via postal mail, email, or fax.

The publication ethics of In Concreto Law Journal are based on the principles established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). These principles have been adapted and contextualized to align with the scope and governance of the journal.
