Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Authors who publish in the Journal of Bio-Digital and Forensic Informatics (JBDFI) agree to the following terms:
The authors retain the copyright of their work and grant JBDFI the right of first publication. The work is published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided that the original work is properly cited.
By submitting a manuscript to JBDFI, authors confirm that the work is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors further confirm that all materials included in the manuscript (including text, figures, tables, data, and supplementary materials) either belong to the authors or are used with appropriate permission and acknowledgment.
Authors are fully responsible for the content of their articles, including the accuracy of data, ethical compliance, and proper citation of sources. Any potential copyright infringement, plagiarism, or misuse of third-party material remains the sole responsibility of the authors.
The publisher and editorial board of JBDFI make every effort to ensure ethical and scholarly integrity but do not assume legal responsibility for claims made by the authors in published articles.
