Author Fees

Journal of Bio-Digital and Forensic Informatics (JBDFI) applies a transparent and responsible publication fee policy to support editorial management and publishing services.

Article Submission Fee

0.00 IDR / 0.00 USD

Authors are not required to pay any submission fee. Manuscript submission, peer review, and editorial evaluation are conducted free of charge.

Article Publication Fee

0.00 IDR / 0.00 USD (Fully Waived)

JBDFI does not charge any standard article processing or publication fee for accepted manuscripts (until 31 December 2026).

Start from 1 January 2027 policy: Author whose work is accepted for publication is subjected to pay 250 USD per article. For Indonesian researcher whose work are accepted, is subjected to pay 3,000,000 IDR per article.

Fast Track Review Fee (Optional)

250,000 IDR / approximately 16 USD

Authors may request an optional fast-track review service (at least 1 month), which prioritizes the editorial and peer-review process. The fast-track service does not influence editorial decisions or acceptance outcomes and is subject to reviewer availability.

Retraction Penalty Fee (Post-Publication)

1,000,000 IDR / approximately 64 USD

In cases where authors request the retraction of an article after it has been formally published, a retraction penalty fee will be applied. This fee covers administrative, editorial, indexing, and correction costs associated with post-publication retraction.

Retractions based on proven editorial error or ethical issues attributable to the journal are not subject to this penalty.
