Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Scramble Word Technique on the vocabulary mastery of junior high school students. The research used a quantitative approach with a true experimental design. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests administered to both an experimental group and a control group. The findings revealed a significant difference between the two groups. Students who were taught using the Scramble Word Technique showed greater improvement in vocabulary mastery than those who received conventional instruction. It can be concluded that the Scramble Word Technique is effective in enhancing students’ vocabulary acquisition.
