Authors who publish in Journal of Biomedical Psychology and Artificial Intelligence (JBPAI) retain copyright of their work while granting the journal the right of first publication. By submitting a manuscript, authors agree that, upon acceptance, the article will be published under an open license that supports broad dissemination and responsible reuse of scholarly content.

Unless otherwise specified, articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY). This license permits use, distribution, reproduction, and adaptation of the work in any medium, provided that the original author(s) and source are properly credited and the integrity of the scholarly record is maintained.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts do not infringe upon existing copyrights.
