Editorial Policy

Journal of Biomedical Psychology and Artificial Intelligence (JBPAI) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of scholarly publishing, scientific integrity, and ethical responsibility. The journal operates an independent editorial process designed to ensure fairness, rigor, transparency, and academic quality.

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to assess relevance to the journal’s focus, originality, and methodological soundness. Submissions that meet the basic criteria proceed to a double-blind peer review conducted by at least two independent experts in relevant disciplines. Editorial decisions are based solely on scientific merit, clarity of contribution, and alignment with the journal’s interdisciplinary scope.

The journal welcomes original research articles, methodological papers, interdisciplinary reviews, and translational studies. Submissions must present previously unpublished work and must not be under consideration elsewhere. Authors are responsible for ensuring accuracy, proper attribution of sources, and compliance with ethical research standards involving human participants, biomedical data, and psychological studies.

JBPAI supports reproducible research and encourages authors to share datasets, code, and experimental protocols whenever possible, subject to privacy and ethical constraints. Transparency in methodology and reporting is considered essential for scientific progress.

The journal enforces a strict policy against plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and unethical authorship practices. All manuscripts are screened using similarity detection tools. Any confirmed violation of publication ethics will result in rejection or retraction according to international best practices in scholarly publishing.

Editorial independence is preserved at all times. Decisions are free from commercial influence, institutional bias, or conflicts of interest. Editors and reviewers must disclose potential conflicts and recuse themselves when necessary.

The journal is committed to promoting interdisciplinary dialogue across biomedical science, psychology, and artificial intelligence, while upholding principles of inclusivity, academic respect, and responsible innovation.
