Proses Fisioterapi pada Kondisi Osteoarthritis Knee dengan Combine Chain Exercise: Case Report

Osteoarthritis knee penyakit degeneratif yang terjadi pada persendian dan bersifat progresif yang menyebabkan kerusakan pada struktur tulang rawan serta perubahan patologis pada persendian dan merupakan 10 penyebab utama kecacatan fisik di dunia. Secara khusus, kelemahan pada otot extensor knee sangat berpengaruh terhadap kejadian osteoarthritis knee. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses fisioterapi pada kondisi osteoarthritis knee dengan modalitas combine chain exercise. Metode studi kasus digunakan dalam penelitian dengan sampel 1 orang pasien dengan kondisi osteoarthritis knee dan dilakukan pemberian intervensi sebanyak 4 sesi fisioterapi selama 2 minggu. Analisa data didasarkan pada perkembangan hasil evaluasi yang disajikan dalam bentuk grafik. Evaluasi nyeri dilakukan dengan Numeric Rating Scale, evaluasi kekuatan otot dengan Manual Muscle Testing, evaluasi Lingkup Gerak Sendi dengan Goneometer dan evaluasi kemampuan fungsional dengan Womac Index. Combine chain exercise dapat menurunkan nyeri, meningkatkan Lingkup Gerak Sendi, meningkatkan kekuatan otot, meningkatkan stabilitas lutut dan meningkatkan kemampuan fungsional pada pasien osteoarthritis knee
